Do you eat regularly at your Dining Table anymore, or just eat in front of the TV?
I’m doing a project on seating scenarios for university, and I was wondering how many people actually eat at a dining table for dinner these days – most people seem to eat on the lounge in front of the TV.
I’d like to hear some people’s responses/opinions on where they usually eat meals, and why they chose that particular spot over another (like the dining table).
It might seem a bit pedestrian and boring, but I’d love to hear about it.
Hopefully this is in the correct category, too.
it depends. Usually we eat at the table (with the kids responsible for setting/cleaning up). Sometimes we have a ‘picnic’ on the floor and they REALLY like it. Spead a sheet out and eat there. It’s not an ‘often’ occasion (about 1 time every 3 weeks) but they really enjoy it. Also depends on what we’re having too! I would NEVER let my 4 year old eat spaghetti sitting on the floor. Whatta mess! LOL!
